The board of "with Pencil & Brush" would like to wish everyone very Merry Christmas and a picturesque New Year

We worked towards the exhibition with the Monday afternoon group and organizing it together, made us feel closer. Because of the beautiful works and set-up, the diversity came out well. The announcement in Groot Eindhoven worked well and the exhibition was very well visited. While drinking coffee or tea and enjoying a snack, lively conversations arose about the beautiful works.

Thanks to the many help obtained from the association, the construction and dismantling of the exhibition went smoothly. In short: a successful as a group we all enjoyed.

On October the 28th and 29th, 2023 the Monday afternoon group is organizing this year's small exhibition.

We would like to invite everyone to come and admire the beautiful works. You are welcome from the start on Saturday afternoon, October 28, 1:30 pm. There is coffee and tea for everyone. The more the merrier....... And there is a lot to see.....

During the weekend of 28 and 29 October, the Monday afternoon group is hosting our annual "small" exhibition.

The 10 members in this group, and their teacher Marjo van Meer, will exhibit their finest works. You will come and take a look, won't you? Further information on opening times will follow, so keep an eye on the website!

After a nice piece of home-baked cake, a lot of cleaning and tidying up was done. A tasty lunch was offered by the board, as thanks for the effort.

Various items were collected in the storage room.

We ask you to have a look if there is anything of yours, please take it home with you before the 1st of November. You have also received an e-mail about this. A great time for the coming year and thanks again to

the cleaning team for their efforts!

The Tilburgse Kunstkring has cordially invited members of our association 'Met Potlood en Penseel' to visit their 75th anniversary exhibition.

You are welcome on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April 2023,
both days from 1pm to 5pm.

Location: Nijverstraat 171a, 5041 AG in Tilburg.

Admission is free.

On Tuesday 18 April from 1-4pm, a colour mixing workshop will be given by Aura op den Camp, in our studio.

Cost is €10 pp.

Min 10, max 12 registrations.

There may be a second workshop on Tuesday 16 May.

Bring your own:

• fine round brush
• small flat brush
• acrylic, gouache or watercolour paint (no oil paints)

Colours:

• cadmium red or another neutral red
• lemon yellow
• cobalt blue
• ultramarine
• phthalo green or other bottle green
• burnt sienna
• white
• black
• possibly van Dijkck brown.

On Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 2 PM, the annual exhibition was opened amid great interest by chairman Irma Rabelink. Unfortunately, during the years with Corona, a digital version had to suffice.

Immediately after the opening, artist Coen van Ham (http://www.coenvanham.com) gave a very inspiring and appealing introduction, in which he also involved a number of the numerous attendees in a pleasant way.

This beginning marked the start of an exhibition that was very busy on both days.

The exhibited works, which were arranged over 2 rooms, garnered admiration and appreciation from visitors. On display was a colorful and diverse set of works of art. In addition, it was established that the level of the works betrayed that the artists are also guided in their activities by the professional teachers that “Met Potlood en Penseel” has at its disposal.

Apparently inspired by what was on display, a number of registrations of new members and requests for further information in this regard could also be booked.

We can look back on a successful exhibition in all respects!

We cordially invite all our association members to attend the General Meeting on January 31, 2023. This meeting will take place at 1 PM in community center "De Lievendaal". All documents relevant to the meeting will be sent in advance to those involved.

On Saturday January 14 and Sunday January 15 of 2023 our assocition organizes the big, yearly, overview exhibition with pieces of art from all our members. We are glad that after two years an actual physical exhibition can be visited again. Everyone is welcome! The opening takes place on Saturday January 14 at 2 PM. The opening times of the exhibition are:

• Saturday January 14, 2023 from 2 - 5 PM and
• Sunday January 15, 2023 from 11 AM - 5 PM.

As in 'the past' the exhibition is held in the community house the Lievendaal situated at 3 Lievendaalseweg (5652 SB) in Eindhoven.
